Canvas encoding uses your browser: MP4 if supported, otherwise WebM. CORS-blocked remote files cannot be exported. Encoding runs in real time; keep this tab visible. Audio capture errors stop export instead of silently creating a silent file.

Hosted MP4 renderer

Shotstack renders an actual HD MP4 asynchronously, with crop, subtitles, audio, and ordered cuts. Owner-only; sends source footage to Shotstack and uses provider credits. No local FFmpeg server is available.
